
Crnogorski Telekom announces Q1 2013 business and financial results

- Strengthened leadership in mobile postpaid and TV markets
In Q1 2013 Crnogorski Telekom achieved revenues of EUR 25.1 million, showing revenue decline of 5.7% compared to Q1 2012 or EUR 1.5 million. Major revenue downsides compared to previous year are related to lower interconnection revenues, to fix and mobile voice revenues and to visitors revenues, while there were also one-time impacts in Q1 of last year. Negative impact of 1EUR tax on usage was especially visible in Prepaid customer segment, where related revenues decreased by 12%. Revenue decrease of these services was partly compensated by higher IPTV and mobile Internet revenues. ADSL and Data service revenues were flat.

Crnogorski Telekom in 2012 achieved revenues of EUR 114.3 million, showing limited revenue decline compared to 2011, with YoY decrease of EUR 2.8 million or -2.4%. Major revenue downsides compared to 2011 are related to lower interconnection revenues, to fix and mobile voice revenues and to visitors revenues. Revenue decrease of these services was partly compensated by higher ADSL revenues, IPTV revenues, mobile Internet and data services revenues, with CT’s Integris service as a main contributor to data revenues increase.
Continuous efforts undertaken with an aim to increase efficiency and improve the cost base, resulted in a decline of operating expenses YoY by EUR 1.8 million (-2.4%), excluding special effects.

Crnogorski Telekom revenue for the nine months of 2012 amounted to EUR 86.9 million, showing limited revenue decline compared to 2011, representing a decrease YoY of EUR 2.8 million or 3.1%. Major revenue downsides compared to Q3 2011 are related to lower interconnection revenues, fix voice retail revenues and visitors revenues. Revenue decrease of these services was partly compensated by higher ADSL revenues, IPTV revenues, mobile Internet and data services revenues, with CT’s Integris service as a main contributor to data revenues increase.

Annual General Assembly meeting of Crnogorski Telekom held today
At today's Annual General Assembly meeting of Crnogorski Telekom, the financial statements and the yearly business report for 2011 were adopted. The Assembly also decided about the profit distribution for 2011and approved that EUR 16,5 million be paid to shareholders of the Company as registered share dividends. The dividend per share is EUR 0.31 (thirty-one cents per share).

Crnogorski Telekom revenues for the first three months of 2012 amounted to EUR 26.6 million, replicating limited revenue decline from 2011. Namely, YOY revenue decreased by only EUR 0.4 million or by 1.4%. Major revenue downsides compared to Q1 2011 are related to interconnection revenues, which is a consequence of decreased mobile termination rates and lower incoming traffic and fix voice retail revenues.

Crnogorski Telekom revenues for 2011 amounted to EUR 117.2 million, which implies a stable revenue development compared to last year. With limiting the YOY decrease to only 1.5%, CT performed better than most peers. Retail revenues were increased. Major revenue downsides, compared to 2010, are related to: lower interconnection revenues, which was a consequence of decreased mobile termination rates and lower incoming traffic, lower fix voice retail revenues and Mobile prepaid revenues. Such development was partly compensated by higher: ADSL revenues, IPTV revenues, Mobile postpaid and Data services revenues, driven by CT’s Integris service.

Daniel Szasz leaving Crnogorski Telekom on 30th June.
Daniel Szasz, the Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chairman of the Management Committee of Crnogorski Telekom will leave the company after his contract ending, in order to take over the new position as an Executive member of the Board of Directors in function of Chief Executive Officer in Makedonski Telekom AD – Skopje.

Financial results for the first six months of 2010
Revenues of Crnogorski Telekom for the H1 amounted to EUR 56.1 million, which is YOY decrease of EUR 2.2 million (-3.7%). The successful implementation of a cost efficiency program resulted in YOY cost reduction of EUR 2.9 million (-7.5%), excluding special effects.

Q2 2008. results announced
In Q2 2008, revenues of T-Com (unit for fixed telephony and internet) amounted to EUR 18.2 million, and were lower for 18.8% compared to the same period last year. This was mainly driven by lower retail traffic revenues (due to mobile substitution) and decline in wholesale traffic revenues. EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) was EUR 6,1 million, which is lower for 25.0%, compared to the Q2 2007. EBITDA margin was 33.2% in Q2 2008.

Crnogorski Telekom publishes results for the first quarter of 2008.
In T-Com, fixed line unit of Crnogorski Telekom, internet revenues doubled in the first quarter compared to a year earlier, while voice revenues remained broadly unchanged. As a result, total fixed line revenues increased by 7%. Underlying EBITDA w/o SI in the fixed line segment increased by 11% compared to the first quarter in 2007 and underlying EBITDA margin increased by 2 percentage points to 36%. In addition to revenue growth, increased profitability was driven by lower operating expenses.
