If the phone is working properly, most likely you have activated call diverting option. To deactivate it enter *#21# and press “yes” (call button).
What do I do when my SIM card is blocked?
After your card has been blocked, “enter PUK” will appear on your screen. All you need is to enter your PUK code and press #. In case this is not explicitly asked (you only have “blocked” written on your screen), you need to enter the following combination:
* 05 * PUK * new PIN *new PIN # OK. In any case, you use only PUK1 from your PIN/PUK card. If you enter a wrong PUK ten times in a row, your SIM card cannot be used ever again.
What about messages on my screen?
BLOCKED CONTACT PROVIDER- SIM card is blocked, most likely after you entered a wrong PUK code ten times in a row. You need to put your SIM card into another phone; if it’s still not working, it is destroyed and you need to replace it.
CARD ERROR or SIM Error (damaged SIM card) means that your card has been damaged and cannot be used any more.
CARD REJECT- Your card is either damaged or blocked.
CHECK CARD/INSERT CARD- You need to reposition your SIM card.
CARD BLOCKED -UNBLOCK- If you enter a wrong PIN code three times in a row, SIM card will be blocked. You need to enter PUK code to unblock it.
PUK BLOCKED/SIM CARD BLOCKED- If you enter a wrong PUK ten times in a row, your SIM card is destroyed and cannot be used ever again; you need to replace it.
PHONE LOCK-Your phone is locked; you need to enter an UNLOCK CODE which is different for each phone model:
- Motorola: 0000# or 1234#
- Ericsson: 0000#
- Philips: 12345#
- Nokia: 12345#
- Panasonic: 0000#
- Sony: 0000 (ok)
EMERGENCY CALLS ONLY/112 ONLY- There is no signal or it is very week, card is blocked after entering wrong PIN/PUK code, something is wrong with your phone. You can only call 112.
