Taking into consideration market and technology trends in modern telecommunications, the Company is in a transformation from a traditional telecom operator to a next generation service provider.
This transition is characterized by changes in the way traditional services are offered, appearance of next generation services, major changes in infrastructure which follow the demands of new services, and finally, the convergence of fixed and mobile networks in the core segment.
In that regard, ADSL technology represents a service whose advancement is from strategic importance to Crnogorski Telekom.
ADSL techology is based on the existing telephone infrastructure and has many advantages compared to similar technologies: delivering fast connections, ease of use and the efficiency in using internet services.
Today, three years the introduction of this service and the introduction of the Extra TV service, Crnogorski Telekom has installed about 40.000 ADSL ports. In accordance with market trends and demands, this number is constantly increasing.
